Apparently tea for two cannot be served properly without a precious little plate specifically for lemon wedges. This one is very close to traditional Limoges patterns from the 1930s with delicate flower motif, gilt edge, and the finger loop is beautifully done in gilt and appears to have a snake detail. While the plate may be designed for use as part of a tea service, it is pretty enough to serve canapes or cookies or candy, and would be lovely as a jewelry or trinket tray.
