Hand made by designer Douglas Werner in his Brooklyn studio. Inspired from the temples of Japan and more particularly the Torii portal commonly found at the entrance of parks and shrines. A stool fit for a king is truly a throne. Dramatic monolithic sweeping curves do not stop this piece from being surprisingly light and easy to move around.
