Unusual and likely unique studio stoneware vase designed by and/or from the hand of legendary Royal Copenhagen designer Nils Thorsson. Age not known, but probably 1940s or 1950s. The vase looks to be a white stoneware body and then covered in an off white glaze which is the ground to the bluish black brushwork decor of a fox and assorted flora. Quite an attractive little gem. Measures 5.5"x 3.75". In excellent, undamaged condition. Signed in glaze to foot with a code in classic RC blue. Undated.
