Vintage 1940s era glass crystal bookend or soapdish or trinket/ candy dish in the form of a nautilus shell. Very heavy weight glass. The fluted portion is part clear and part frosted which gives it a lot of depth and interest. My mom used it with soaps placed in the opening.
