Description

A vintage Royal Worcester 'Palmyra' pattern teapot and lidded sugar bowl set, crafted from fine porcelain. Each piece features a vibrant floral and foliate design in orange, blue, purple, and green on a crisp white ground, accented with a gold rim. The pattern evokes an Iznik or Ottoman-inspired aesthetic. The underside of the teapot is marked 'Royal Worcester, Fine Porcelain, England, Oven to Table Ware, Dishwasher Proof, ? 1970 Royal Worcester, Palmyra, Bride of the Desert'. The sugar bowl has a similar mark, specifying 'Bone China' and 'Bird of the Desert' instead of 'Bride'. Both pieces are from 1970 and designed for both aesthetic display and practical use.

Condition

Excellent, with no visible chips, cracks, or significant wear. Colors are bright and gold trim is intact.
