A rustic hand-carved wooden sculpture depicting a Haitian village scene with figures carrying baskets on their heads and thatched-roof dwellings. The carving features intricate details in relief and some subtle green pigment accents. The back of the sculpture is inscribed "Peggy brought back from Haiti 10/98", indicating its origin and acquisition date. This piece represents traditional Haitian folk art, likely from the late 20th century.

Very Good - Minor wear consistent with age, but no significant damage or repairs. The wood shows a natural patina.
