This captivating oil painting by Robert Owen, titled "The Mask Maker," depicts a whimsical scene of a clown seated on a cloud, meticulously painting various clown faces onto other cloud-like forms. The central clown wears a festive hat with feathers and a black vest over a white shirt, holding a paintbrush. Above him, a smaller clown sits atop a cloud, observing the scene. The background is a soft, dreamlike sky with hues of pink, orange, and blue, creating a surreal atmosphere. The work is signed "Robert Owen" in the lower right corner. The painting is housed in a rustic, light brown wooden frame.

Very Good, consistent with age. Frame shows minor wear.
