A charming and richly textured folk art oil painting, likely oil on board, depicting a bustling scene at 'Whistler's Landing'. The painting features numerous whimsical figures in a rustic, wooded setting, possibly cowboys or gold prospectors, engaged in various activities around a log cabin and a signpost. The impasto technique gives the work a tactile quality. Signed 'MR' in the lower right corner. Housed in a warm-toned wooden frame.

Very Good, minor wear consistent with age.
