Ives (Charles) Signed Christmas card ("Chas. E. Ives")

The card, addressed to his doctor from Taormina, Sicily, reads "Dear Doctor: Remembrance & best wishes from us all to you plus the family. We came slowly down from Switzerland, through Italy - This is beautiful little country village where everything is 400 BC (even the people). We have a little stone hut set in a large field of flowers etc, and will probably stay here till spring. I keep alone, in pretty good shape - the testo, specum etc are about the same, not worse - and I have put (?) on some weight, Mrs Ives and Edie are well and enjoying this new Xmas", dated "Cms 18 Dec", image of the Baptistry in Florence to the front, very light handling wear, 8vo.
