Hill (Octavia) Two autograph letters signed ("Octavia Hill")

Both letters to an unknown female recipient, the first one reading "I delayed writing in reply to your most kind letter till I heard again from Miss Urwich. I now write to say that my niece and I hope to come on Thursday by the train leaving Paddington at 9.50. Thank you much for your considerate thought about our rooms. I think the two side by side sound very nice, is that suits your convenience. I do hope that the meeting may be successful and a help to the work", two pages; the second letters says "I have to thank you very sincerely for your kind invitation to Miss Lewes and myself. I accept it with pleasure. It seems a long time beforehand to make plans, and I shall hope to write nearer the time as to details", one page; 8vo, 190 Marylebone Road, 20 November 1899 and 1 February 1900. (2)
