Loesch, Nixon thanks her for her previous letter and adds "As I said in my acceptance speech, no man could be greatly honoured than to be selected as the running mate of President Eisenhower. You can be sure that to the extent that physical limitations of time, space, and stamina permit, I shall do everything I possibly can to assure victory in November.
