(as Queen Dowager), between Henrietta Maria and Henry Jermyn, Earl of Albans, Lord Chamberlain; Sir Kenelme Digby, Chancellor and Keeper of Her Great Seal; Sir John Wintour, Principal Secretary; Sir Charles Harbord, the King's Surveyor General; Sir Robert Long, her Surveyor General; Sir Peter Balle, Attonery General; and Sir Henry Wood, Clerk of the Green Cloth to the King's Household, of the one part (signed by all & twice by Balle & Wintour) and Thomas Panton of London. Esq.. leasing the Manor of Eltham, Kent, including the Little Park, the Mansion House, mines & quarries, etc., reciting former leases and yearly rent; 2 vellum skins joined at foot, at head fine engraved initial portrait of the Queen, Royal Arms of France, crowned fleur-de-lis and finely engraved rose, seals missing, original cords remaining where Great Seal was appended, impression of Great Seal on verso, 7 April 1663.
***Henrietta Maria returned to England in October, 1661, living in state at Somerset House. She left England in 1665 for her chateau near Paris where she died.
