The letter, on his headed paper and signed by Miller as an Air Corps captain only two months before his death, reading in part "I'm sorry to inform you that the United States Army does not permit the distribution of photographs of the officers. We hope you continue to find enjoyment in our musical efforts", one page, some age-related toning, tall 4to, 2 October 1944.
