Autograph letter signed ("Anna A. Morton") to "Dear Julie", saying "I have been turning out a lot of old letters today 'setting my house in order' before I go away, and I have put these aside in case you would care to have them. I don’t think they are any of them of sufficient interest for you to keep unless Mrs Gordon Cumming's, but all the same they may interest you as specimens of calligraphy", three pages, 8vo, 27 Hamilton Terrace, 15 November 1905; with an interesting group of letters (possibly those mentioned in the letter above) to Morton and fellow archaeologist Mary Broderick from various correspondents, including: Mabel Bent (letter to Anna accepting and invitation and saying "It will give great pleasure to see Miss Brodrick", n.d.); Stanley Lane Poole (letter to Mary, trying to arrange tours to the British Museum "especially the Antiquities" for a 12 year old boy whose father wishes to encourage him "to think about things far outside his school routine and widen his interests", 18 December 1897); Adelina Sergeant (accepting Miss Broderick's invitation); William Romaine Paterson (confirming an engagement, 13 January 1899);Jane E. Harrison; Peter Clayden, editor of the Daily News (saying "all the arrangements for the report [...] are in the hands of one of the staff, and I had no knowledge of any desire on his part for further help. He is quite able to do it himself, and will probably send more than we can print. Should we needing anything at any time on Egyptological subjects I shall be very glad to refer to your letter", 3 September 1897); Alexander Stuart Murray (declining Mis Morton's invitation); Constance Gordon-Cumming (two thank-you cards to Miss Morton, one providing some update on the conditions of a common acquaintance); John Coulson Kernahan ("I am glad to hear from my wife that we are to have the pleasure of seeing you at the Vagabond's dinner at Hotel Cecil tomorrow", n.d., with three letters from his wife Jeanie Gwynne, one informing Miss Morton that "I have married again.
