Proceeds from this auction will support the Sena Eken-Schieber Economics Award at Turkish Philanthropy Funds, a scholarship established to empower outstanding female students from Türkiye to pursue graduate studies in economics at leading universities in the United States. The pieces featured in this auction have been generously donated by George Schieber, whose continued commitment honors Sena Eken-Schieber's legacy by investing in the next generation of women leaders in economics.

The Sena Eken-Schieber Economics Award was established in 2015 to support exceptional female students specializing in economics as they advance to top-tier graduate programs in the U.S. Beyond financial support, the award recognizes academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to contributing to economic thought and practice. To date, the program has supported a growing network of scholars who are shaping the future of the field.
