Antique 18th century French tin glaze faience soup tureen in the form of a large head of lettuce or cabbage. Measures 13" diameter x 9" tall. Good condition - scattered rim chips and a leaf with old restoration. Displays beautifully. Similar Sceaux examples sold at Sotheby's New York including in the estate of Bunny Mellon.
