Wonderful vintage, could be antique, Thailand Sukhothai, or Buddha bust that appears bronze. Has a flame finial, eyes looking downward, elongated ears and subtle smile. Mounted to a square solid wood base. The original paper tag on the bottom translates to "No. 14?The Fine Arts Department permits [this item] to be taken outside the Kingdom according to Permit No. 1250/2508." The 2508 is from the Buddhist calendar which corresponds to the year 1965. Stands approx. 21" tall. From the estate of a collector of excellent and eclectic antiques.
