Provenance and Authentication:
According to the Letter of Authenticity (LOA) and Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided by the consignor, this collectible was subjected to a forensic examination. The accompanying documentation states that the signatures were evaluated with reference to multiple characteristics, including ink deposition, material and aging characteristics, stylistic consistency, and historical context. Based on the examination described in these documents, the authentication provider concluded that the findings were consistent with the attributed signatures. The LOA and COA provided by the consignor accompany the lot.

A signed drawing by Dr. Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel, 1904-1991) depicting the Lorax, one of the most distinctive characters from his celebrated literary world. Rendered in lively black linework with selective red and yellow coloring, the Lorax stands atop a tree stump while holding a suspended placard inscribed "Best Wishes from Dr. Seuss." The inscription and signature are incorporated directly into the composition, giving the drawing an especially engaging and personal presentation.

Introduced in the 1971 book The Lorax, the character became closely associated with Seuss's imaginative exploration of environmental responsibility and the consequences of unchecked exploitation of nature.
