This lot consists of two taxidermy specimens of the Common Snapping Turtle (Chelydra serpentina), featuring a polished carapace and a separate head mount. The carapace, or upper shell, is finished with a heavy, high-gloss lacquer coating over dark brown scutes. A wooden ruler visible in the images for scale is marked MADE IN U.S.A.
