This set is made in the handsome Fairfax pattern, and dates to around the 1920s. This pattern features an octagonal, paneled design to the bodies of the pieces, which carries over to the lids and the pedestal base. The set is mint clean inside and out, ready for use or display. Each piece has a finely engraved monogram of T in Gothic script. The set consists of: Teapot--11 inches from handle to spout, 4 1/2 inches tall. Capacity of 1 3/4 pints (28 fluid ounces/0.8 liters) Creamer--3 3/8 inches tall. Capacity of 3/4 of a pint (12 fluid ounces/0.35 liters) Sugar bowl--7 3/4 inches from handle to handle, 4 inches tall. This set is in excellent overall condition. The teapot has one very minor ding to a ridge, to the right side of the spout, which is hard to notice. There are no splits, no leaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs. Each piece is stamped on the underside with the Gorham/Durgin maker's mark as well as sterling, the number 04, and the name of the pattern, Fairfax. The teapot is also marked with the capacity, 1 3/4 pints, while the creamer is marked with the capacity of 3/4 of a pint. The total weight for the set is 1113 grams or 39.3 regular ounces. -jm
