Exceptional late 1960s U.S. issue of The Beatles’ iconic “White Album,” signed twice in black felt-tip marker by Ringo Starr—once prominently on the front cover and again on the inside gatefold above his portrait. Measuring approximately 12" x 12", the album cover is a second-issue, non-numbered U.S. example retaining the raised, embossed “The Beatles” title on the front. Record is not included. In very good condition, exhibiting scattered age and handling wear, including areas of staining and age toning to the center of the interior gatefold, none affecting either signature. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from noted Beatles authority Perry Cox, who describes signed White Albums as “incredibly rare,” notes this as the first example he had encountered signed twice by Ringo, and dates the autographs to the mid-2000s. A particularly desirable Beatles collectible, distinguished by two bold Ringo Starr signatures on one of the group’s most celebrated and recognizable albums.
