Fantastic Led Zeppelin II album signed on the cover in blue ballpoint pen by Led Zeppelin band members John Bonham and Robert Plant, both of whom inscribed “Best wishes” before their respective signatures. Measuring approximately 12" x 12" and in very good condition, with scattered signs of wear, including ring wear, toning, and creasing, none of which affect the signatures. Record is included. Accompanied by full Letters of Authenticity from Beckett (#AG005116) and Grad Authentication (#GA-05336), as well as a signed provenance statement from the original owner, Colin Groves of Hull, who states that he personally obtained Bonham’s signature while a friend of the legendary drummer and later obtained Plant’s signature in person. Released in 1969 as the band’s landmark second studio album, Led Zeppelin II marked a defining step in Led Zeppelin’s evolution from their blues-rock roots toward the powerful hard-rock sound that would influence generations to follow. Particularly desirable with the scarce signature of John Bonham, who died in 1980, both autographs are exceptionally well positioned within the open areas of the iconic cover, remaining clear and fully legible. Enhanced by direct firsthand provenance and dual third-party authentication, this is an exceptional example signed by two members of one of rock music’s most influential bands—including the rare Bonham.
