The girl is dressed in an elaborate pale blue and white costume with matching bonnet, ruffled trim, bows, and extensive raised gilt accents. She affectionately rests one hand on the dog's head while holding the other near its muzzle.The seated dog is exceptionally well modeled with realistic textured fur, expressive painted eyes, open mouth, collar and gilt-highlighted medallion. The pair stands beside a rustic faux-wood fence on an elaborate naturalistic base decorated with molded leaves, flowers, branches and woodland details.A substantial decorative porcelain group with attractive pastel coloring and considerable detail.
