Circa 1900, English ebony box with a hunting or sporting dog bronze plaque. It is handcrafted with a sculpted overhanging hinged lid that follows the lines of the base. It is from the Art Nouveau period and is raised on lovely bun feet. It would make a handsome desk accessory and addition to a dog collection or a men's jewelry box.
