An Art Deco Era Sterling Silver smoke set, an ashtray and match book holder, made for personal use while traveling, circa 1920-1930.

This set fits neatly into a jacket pocket.

For the discerning gentleman, the two piece set shows an incised line decoration typical of the era, each with a rectangular area left blank for a monogram.

The match book holder has the original heavy paper insert with a striker on the side. The insert slides into the silver cover. It now holds one original match.

Ashtray: 2 inches in diameter x .50 in. H
Matchbook: 1.75 in. L x 1 in. W x .50 in. H

Both pieces are stamped Sterling. No monogram.

In good condition, the ashtray shows the expected light wear from use with unpolished patina.
