In the Renaissance Revival Rose pattern from the Barrettoni gia Antonibon pottery in Nove, Italy, a covered and handled sugar bowl, circa 1930s.

A charming hand painted piece in an overall floral decoration with a bright blue dash and dot border. The lid has a top knob formed as a pear with two green leaves. The double handles also show a dot and dash lining. Brightly glazed, the Rose floral pattern is distinctive to this type of Italian majolica ceramics.

Marked: Impressed Italy on the base.
