This aubusson style tapestry depicts a medieval scene of a maiden at a fountain with her suitor. The maiden is fetching a pan of water from a fountain that is spewing water from multiple terraces. She is attended by a gentleman player with his mandolin. A monk or chaparone is depicted in the background overseeing the activity.

A falconer is shown with his falcon and a handmaiden is playing an organ. A secondary figure in medieval clothing is walking with a sheep.

The tapestry panel measures 51" x 51" and is surrounded by a decorative 5.5" border in a motif of stylized acanthus leaves and vines. The entire piece has a linen backing. The overall size is approximately five feet by five feet.
The principal colors are tan, pinkish red, blue, green, and brown, with black accents.

It comes with a hanging rod with two finials, two wooden wall brackets, and one tassel on the hanging rod.

The piece is embroidered with the name "Maidin" and the monogrqm "M".
