A magnificent pair of 19th Century hand-carved architectural corbel wall brackets. The exquisite French craftsmanship shows in the detailed carvings highlighted by the strong Eagle head and robust tail feathers. Clearly, these were designed to protect the room they graced.

The finish has aged well with a lovely patina along with the distressed remnants of green and gold paint. This large pair will make a statement in any size room hanging on the wall or standing upright on a table or mantle.
