A magnificent set of six antique Limoges porcelain plates from the esteemed Jean Pouyat (J.P.L.) factory in Limoges, France, each beautifully hand-painted and signed by the artist "J.E.F." These plates exemplify the romantic elegance of late 19th to early 20th-century French decorative porcelain, with delicate floral compositions and subtle pastel backgrounds. Circa 1891-1932. Each plate features a unique hand-painted floral motif (roses, pansies, daffodils, peonies, etc.), accented with gilded scalloped rims. Soft luster glaze with fine detailing in petal and foliage work. Plate hangers are included with purchase.
