Description
Stunning deep blue cobalt and white. Floral accents with gold gilt relief. Marked with Meissen sword mark and F152. This is a really nice large display plate / bowl / charger made by Meissen during the 20th century. The cobalt blue ground color with the relief design highlighted with full gilding and large floral design in the center is one of the best combinations. TThe plate has three panels of white ground hand painted with a single flower along the rim and a really nice floral arrangement in the center. The rest of the rim has that amazing blue ground color to it with that amazing gilding some of which was polished to shine perfectly while others is matte and that combo is really nice as well. The piece is in perfect condition and looks amazing! The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue swords mark (with two cuts across it denoting it being a second choice piece) as well as the usual impressed and artist's marks, etc. as shown. It is 12 in wide in diameter.
