The hand painted sailing ships on this large ceramic jug will surely inspire thoughts of nautical adventures. The pitcher features a glossy brown exterior glaze and a lighter, beige-colored interior and rim. The white sailboats (one on each side) are wonderfully detailed with detailed dark lines representing rigging, and crew members on deck. Waves with some whitecaps suggest forward movement of the ships as wind fills the white sails.
