Description
A Dutch walnut wine bucket with brass liner and turned spindles. The piece dates to the 1840's and is also known as a jardiniere or a tea stove bucket. Sometimes the brass bucket was filled with coals and a grate was. placed on top of the bucket to hold a kettle for hot tea.
