Kathleen, 2005, Whimsical mixed-media portrait assemblage constructed from painted wood and salvaged metal objects. The elongated face incorporates metal housings and washers for eyes, wooden eyebrows and nose, metal-loop ears, a perforated-metal mouth, staples suggesting facial scars, and a ridged metal element forming the hair. Mounted on a wooden support fitted into a repurposed cast-metal base. Devlin is a Louisville artist known for three-dimensional portraits and abstractions assembled from found, salvaged, and repurposed materials.

Condition: Expected oxidation, abrasions, paint wear, surface marks, and irregularities to the salvaged components. The metal surround of one eye is bent and partially separated, possibly intentional to the construction.
