This one-of-a-kind custom-built 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 drag slot car measures 9 x 3 x 3 inches. It features an intricately designed brass and wire chassis, complemented by a plastic body likely derived from a 1/24 or 1/25 scale model kit. The black paint job includes a striking red interior and the model boasts decals specific to the 'Fairlane 500'. Despite showing some light scratches and scuffs, especially on the roof and hood, this beauty is stated to be tested and in working order. Chrome trim is mostly intact with minimal wear, and the Pro-Track Eliminator rear tires, though showing some age, provide clear lettering that reflects its vintage style. A true gem for any serious slot car hobbyist, this piece is designed for both display and performance.

After the auction you can checkout two ways: Pay the invoice via Live Auctioneers/Proxibid or pay via the Lodestar Auctions website. Credit card fees apply both ways. 2.9% & $0.30 (4.4% & $0.30 international) through Lodestar Auctions and 4-5% through Live Auctioneers/Proxibid . Lodestar Auctions collects 7% sales tax for Illinois residents only. Live Auctioneers/Proxibid collects sales tax for most states. Check with them for sales rates for your state. Any unpaid items will be automatically charged by Live Auctioneers/Proxibid three days after end of auction. At checkout pay for the item only, shipping will be billed later. See below for shipping options to choose at checkout.

Shipping:


Pick up and buyer arranged shipping is always welcome. We offer in-house shipping for items that can ship through common carrier. All items will be professionally packed at a reasonable rate. If you paid for the item via Lodestar Auctions or Proxibid we will have your items packaged and send you a link to choose and pay for shipping on the Lodestar Auctions Website.

**Important** Live Auctioneers has their own shipping program. We find it to be very expensive and slow. This is the rate you see advertised when bidding. We do not recommend using them. If you do use them you must checkout via Live Auctioneers and choose LiveShip at checkout. If you pay via Live Auctioneers and want our In-house shipping you must choose self-arranged shipping at checkout. If you checkout via Lodestar Auctions this does not apply. I apologize if this is confusing, Live Auctioneers purposely arranged it this way to push their own overpriced shipping service. We are not happy about this and are trying to make it work.


Issues:

All items sold as is. We do our best to describe accurately and take plenty of non-touched up photos to best represent the item. Any lost or damaged item due to shipping must go through the carriers. Buyer pays any return shipping costs regardless of situation.
