Antique Limoges Porcelain Plates With Lobsters and Shells- Set of 3

Description

These beautiful Gold Gilded Plates make these Lobsters look charming. I love the seashells and the slightly textured water. And, contrast the scene with the floral gold gilded border and the Lobsters are downright elegant. The H and Co over L dates these plates, carried by Bailey, Banks and Biddle, from 1876 to 1889. This Philadelphia store was reorganized in 1870.

Condition Notes: The yellow and red bordered plates are in excellent condition without loss of gold gilding, chips or scratches.
The blue bordered plate has a 1/2 repair to the top border, but is intact on the whole of the bottom of the plate. Please see the last photos.
