These two hand-embroidered accent pillows were stitched in the Aubusson-style of embroidery. The entire surface of the fabric is covered with the identical type of stitch. Colors are chosen as from a palette for painting to achieve the artist's created image. The back side is a kind of brushed fabric in dark blue and has a zipper in the middle for the purpose of separating the cover from the pillow inside. The intricate workmanship combined with the attractive colored design of a vase with roses makes this accent pillows a rare, unique, and valuable work of art.
