20th Century Italian Neoclassical 35.5 inches tall Acanthus Scroll Design gold Finish Wrought, forged Iron with Wire Mesh 3 Panels Fireplace Screen, Fireplace Tool, Fireplace Mantel.
This is a three-panel decorative fireplace screen featuring an intricate gold-finished wrought iron design.
The central panel is taller and crowned with a large, stylized acanthus leaf motif, while the side panels are hinged for adjustable positioning.
The screen incorporates scrollwork patterns with leaf accents, very decorative in the Style of Banci Fierenze, all backed by a fine mesh to help block sparks from escaping the fireplace.
Made in Florence, Italy circa Mid-20th Century.
