Antique Victorian English Silver Plate Fruit Knives & Forks with Mother of Pearl Handles.....boxed set.

The set is likely to be from the Victorian period - 1880 to 1900.
There are six knives and six forks. Each cuff is sterling.

The box measures 29.5cm (11.75") x 22.5cm (9") x 5.5cm (2.25").

The plush lined box makes this a stunning set to give as a gift with a blank brass cartouche to the top of the lid which could be engraved.Indeed worthy of the Downton Abbey dining table!

The knives and forks are in excellent antique condition with expected surface scratching from useage and age but no loss to silver plate. There is no damage to the mother of pearl and each handle has a beautiful gloss to it.

Each piece has the haulmark embossed as pictured.
