Great looking antique Asian hand carved chunky panel decorated with red boule under-paint and heavy coating of gilt atop, with a Chinese red painted border. Piece is most likely from an old piece of furniture or out of an old temple. Motifs include vases, assorted fruits, stylized flames, flowers, scrolls, and all resting on a version of a Chinese Chippendale style shelf. This is a goodie!
