Large vintage mid-century inlaid mosaic backgammon and chess game with Moorish motif designs. The chess and checker board is on the exterior of the box, and the backgammon board is on the interior.

Purchased will stationed in Algeria, this piece shows amazing craftsmanship with intricate marquetry in geometric pattern inlay and fine precision making it beautiful as well as functional.

Considering that the box has traveled the world over, it is in wonderful condition with all inlay intact and only one small portion of wood missing by one interior hinge (see photos).

The game pieces have been lost to the years and are not included.
