Mid 19th-Century Swedish Scandinavian Baroque chest or box with original hand forged iron strapping. It is all original Nordic pine and birch bark. This lovely handmade oval box was used to hold something valuable - documents or a Bible perhaps. It has iron loop handles on the sides as well. It is heavy, sturdy and has original paint.
