This wrought iron chair belongs to the Mt Vernon group attributed to Salterini, one of the more sought after wrought iron furniture makers of the earlier to mid 20th century. It has had some repair, which will be discussed in the condition section, but know it is very strong and sturdy, ready to be used as an accent chair or an addition to a group you already own. These chairs were made to be used inside or out.

Condition Notes: The chair is in good condition for its age & use. It has had repairs, one back strap was completely broken off & replaced and the strap next to it broke from the bottom frame & was welded back in place. I took a picture of the welds from the chair front and back. There is also a picture of a small seperation in the side frame where the bottom welds to the side frame & the arm attaches. It does nothing to take away from the strength or sturdiness of the chair, just visual. There are no cushions included and as soon as cushions are put on the chair none of these issues will be obvious.
