This exquisite woodblock print measures 12 x 13 inches in the frame with an image size of 9 x 10 1/4 inches. It is an authentic work by renowned Shin-hanga artist Tomikichiro Tokuriki (1902-1999), depicting the iconic Shōren-in Temple in Awata, Kyoto. The print is signed 'Tomikichirō' (富亮) and showcases stable colors with some minor age-related fading. While the print itself exhibits waviness and buckling, it presents a beautiful representation of the artist's mastery. Note that the surrounding mat is in poor condition with significant foxing and water staining, especially along the bottom edge and in the upper right corner.
