This is an reproduction Japanese woodblock print by Katsushika Hokusai titled "The Hanging Bridge on the Border of Hida and Echizen Provinces" (Hida Echizen no sakai tsuribashi). It is from the series "Unusual Views of Famous Bridges in Various Provinces" (Shokoku meikyō kiran). The print is an ōban yoko-e format. The full sheet measures 14 3/4 x 10 1/2 inches. The cartouche in the upper right identifies the series and title, and the signature reads "Saki no Hokusai Iitsu hitsu" (from the brush of the former Hokusai, Iitsu).
