This exquisite Kōno Bairei Japanese Woodblock Print features a beautiful depiction of an egret and lotus. Measuring 4 1/4 x 6, this piece has notable voids. It displays significant tear and paper loss at the top center edge, along with general age-toning and small white spots, indicative of pigment loss or paper flaws. Minor edge and corner wear are present as well. A pencil inscription ('Bairei') and a 'Made in Japan' stamp on the reverse add to its provenance.
