A lovely quality pair of 19th-Century English cast solid bright gilt brass mantel horses circa 1890. These handsome equestrian figurines are large, well cast with superb details and heavy, weighing over 5 pounds. They are unusual in that the horses have saddles and all the equestrian tack: bits, bridles, etc. They would be perfect on a fireplace mantel or displayed on a desk or shelf.
