The beautiful bronze sculpture is of The Tibetan Amitayus, the Bodhissatva/Buddha of infinite life. Adorned with necklaces, crown and sashes decorated with rosettes, pearls and medallions, Buddha is seated on a lotus throne, holding Kalasa which is a bottle containing primeval water which symbolizes abundance. This is a larger, heavier statue. Facial features are refined and expression peaceful. Bottom is sealed.
