Elegant and stately this pair of regal lions would enhance any entryway or garden. They have beautiful curly manes and are sitting on their haunches. They each sit on a base which is part of the statue and not a separate piece. They have the kind of patina that is the envy of those who purchase new ones. However if one prefers a "cleaner" look, they can be power washed and have their years of being sentinels in the garden washed away. They are in very good vintage condition with whatever imperfections appropriate to their age. Please look at the photos. One has a couple of rust spots (iron framework showing through) on one paw, (photo #8) and there are a few other minor areas which, in my opinion, only add to the "old world" look. The base of one has a small piece of a corner broken off, (see photo #9) but it is in the back and doesn't detract from the statue. Again, I believe all the minor imperfections add to the "aged" look and to the old world European presence
They are grand and measure 9" wide x 16" deep x 24" high
