Sunburst mirror made of solid wood with a wood backing, as well. The wooden "rays" have a rustic look -- a little rough/jagged rather than sanded down -- which give it character and definitely make it stand apart from traditional sunburst mirrors. Appears to have been handmade. It has been recently restained to match its original mahogany color and finished with water-based polycrylic topcoat. The mirror has a beveled edge; seems to have been replaced at some point. Substantial and heavy. Weight is 15lbs.
