Taylor, Smith & T was established in 1899 in Chester, West Virginia, by C. L. Taylor, William L. Smith, and Charles A. Taylor, the plant closed in the early 1980s. TS&T gained recognition for its contributions to the American Modernist movement in the 1930s.
